It had a ZZ4 motor in it and an Edelbrock 4bbl. We installed a new Holley Sniper EFI, MSD ignition, Dakota Digital gauge assembly, Flaming River tilt steering column, Budnik steering wheel, bigger brake booster and dual reservoir master cylinder and brake lines, new gas tank with in tank fuel pump, new stainless fuel lines and Aeromotive fuel filter, Edelbrock water pump, higher output alternator, and pulley system. This short documentary goes behind the build of an incredible ’70 Chevelle hardtop with a 572 and 8 stack Hilborn EFI that puts out 645 horsepower and 653 ft/lbs of Torque. Beautifully restored '40 Ford came in to our shop with blown out steering rack bushings which is something we see alot of, even on new steering racks. Our fix is to machine new Delrin bushings on the lathe for a permanent fix. We also rebuilt the power steering pump, and recalibrated the fuel system. 66 Ford Mustang Convertible 302ci with a C4 Automatic needed a whole new wiring harness. All the old wiring had to go! We gave it a brand-new American Autowire Wiring Harness, fuse panel, dash harness, relays, deutsch connectors, headlights switch, pigtails, terminals, and more. We also put in a new FiTech GoStreet 400 HP EFI and went through the whole tuning process until it learned for idle, cold start, hot start, shift points, etc. We put in New Custom Gauges in the dash, a Retrosound Radio, and rebuilt the heating system. This beautiful '50 Mercury has over 200 custom modifications, and now its getting a new transmission pan at Brauns Motorsports. Sit back and watch a relaxing video of the upgrade process! We removed the old aftermarket pan and replaced it with a brand new 350 Turbo sand-cast aluminum pan from PML. This pan has much better heat dispersion and holds more fluid. The beefier pan required us to trim down the shift cable bracket on our milling machine. Brake Caliper machining and replacement process for a classic '70 Corvette. This vette came in to the shop for service and its brake calipers were leaking. Corvette calipers often leak so in order to replace them, we start with a restored set. These often need to be faced on their parting surfaces in order to get a good seal and prevent leaks, then rebuilt with new springs and piston kits before they are installed on the car. This Oldsmobile convertible has a 455ci engine with Ram Air and a Tremec 5 Speed transmission. We put in an MSD Ignition upgrade, new rear trailing arms, new driveshaft, reset the pinion angle, gave it a performance tune on the dyno and a road tune.
